Washington Business Week
is a rigorous weeklong education program for high school students about the role of private enterprise and profit in a healthy society.
They teach:
·Youth the importance and role of profit
·Create a life changing experience regarding work choices
·Develops citizens who are more informed thinkers
·Know that team work is essential to being successful.
There is going to be a session (Aug 8-14) at Western Washington University this summer. Private sector businesses from around the state participate in this activity and students can either commute or stay on site in a dorm. Cost is $295 to the student- we could support under WIA. Details of the week can be found on their web site. This is a great experience for young people.
