A: At WorkSource any youth can search for work, assess skills and
connect with local businesses. We offer
- Job referrals and hiring events
- Resume and application assistance
- Internet access for job search
- Workshops to build job search skills
For income eligible youth 16-21 year old there is
assistance with high school completion/GED; career camps in high growth
careers; work experience and internship opportunities and scholarships for
college.
Q: My teen does not have anything to do this summer, can you help?
A: There are many resources at the WorkSource Center where the teen can come
and use. He/she can come in to search for work and connect with local
employers who hire teens. WorkSource has job search listing on site at

Q: I want to go to college, but I don’t have a High School diploma, what
can I do?
A: You can come to WorkSource and find out about resources in our community
to assist you with getting your high school diploma or GED. There are
programs offered by the partners at WorkSource that can assist you in
completing your high school diploma or GED.
Q: Can WorkSource help me get back to school, I’m only 13?
A: No- please contact your local school district. WorkSource does have a
youth web site where you are research local area schools. please visit

Q: I’m not cut out for college, is there any alternative for me?
A: There are multiple alternatives for you to get a good paying jobs and
start a career. WorkSource has listing and information on Apprenticeship and
On the Job Training programs. You can visit your local WorkSource center or

Q: I’m out of work, and never graduated from high school. What can
WorkSource do for me?
